APPLICATIONS Coarse : 60#--120# Good for rough sanding and removing layers of old paint quickly, including rough sanding of polyester putty, steel plate, and wood material. Medium : 120#--600# Makes a good starting for most projects, feather sanding, grinding of polyester putty, aluminum plates, fiberglass, metal materials, and wall shaping. Fine : 600#--1200# Great for fine sanding of polyester putty, paint primer, and old paint, used for fine grinding and fine shaping of furniture, amber, metal, etc. Extra Fine : 1200#--3000# Used for light sanding between coats of finish and to sand metal, hardwood, stone, and other non-metallic materials.
